Kimberly Chumlea

Kimberly was a born talent.  Raised by an architect father (David Braden) and stylish mother (Sara), design was in her blood.  In her childhood home, Kimberly was surrounded by mid-century designers like Ray & Charles Eames, Herman Miller, Florence & Hans Knoll, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Warren Platner.  She was raised with a great appreciation for clean lines, respect for nature, and a knack for stylish whimsy.  When it came time to decorate a home of her own, however, she relied greatly on her Texas roots to portray the rustic comforts she and her Fort Worth husband, Joseph, had grown to love.  Working for years on her own, styling friends homes, she grew a name for herself.  She had experience decorating with a Deep Ellum shop owned by designer, Mary Neil Dance.  She also began a partnership in sales and design with Dallas-based furniture manufacturer, Old Timber Table Company, designing and commissioning beautiful pieces.  Kimberly forged out on her own in 2000 after 2 of her 3 children had flown the nest.  With her experience designing and styling for clients of varying tastes, Kimberly has spanned almost 2 decades building a portfolio of clients based on referrals alone.

Megan Gallagher

Megan has had an eye for design, especially interior design, all her life.  For her birthday one year as a young girl, she announced that she didn't want traditional gifts from her parents; instead she requested a room "make-over".  In college, while most girls were planning their wardrobe, Megan was styling the dormitory room she would share with a roommate - fortunately, the roommate agreed to let her take the lead in design.  Post-college, Megan has experience working for a commercial art gallery in the Dallas Design District: space planning, color scheming, selecting & commissioning art with local designers. She also has extensive experience in the event planning world.  From designing dream weddings (seen in Style Me Pretty and Southern Weddings) to designing commercial food service space and conceiving/actualizing large, high-end corporate functions; Megan specializes in realizing a vision with detailed planning and thorough execution.  Her organized and creative approach to visualizing a space-made-new is an asset to clients who may know what they like, but can’t quite formulate and accomplish it on their own.
